Tita's is known as a "turo, turo" restaurant, which translates to "point, point."
On a relatively quiet Saturday afternoon, less than half of Tita's green and yellow cafe chairs are filled, but the line still trails out the door. Our group, tw11 0lw led by a second generation tw11 0lw Filipino-American, "point, points" to two combos, one with rice and one with pancit, and to what seems to be a well-balanced selection of barbecue skewers, fish, and vegetable side dishes. The barbecue is also delicious. It's grilled behind a large plexiglass shield in the main restaurant so the aromas tempt diners waiting to place their orders. The pork and chicken skewers are crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and like many Filipino offerings, the marinade is salty and slightly sweet.

Magnetine indukcija paremtas frico kompaktiškas ir mobilus kaitinantis elementas laimėjo pirmąją tarptautinio koncepcinių buities prietaisų konkurso Electrolux Design Lab 2010 vietą. frico
Sraigė nereikalauja tiek vietos kaip įprastos viryklės, kaitlentės ar mikrobanginės – ji prilimpa tiesiai prie puodo, keptuvės, puodelio ar kitos talpos ir kaitina jo turinį. Be to, ji gali būti naudojama bet kurioje vietoje. Didelio tankio cukraus kristalų baterija generuoja energiją, kuri įkaitina spiralę, sukuriančią magnetinę indukciją. Į prietaisą integruoti sensoriai identifikuoja kaitinamo maisto tipą ir automatiškai parenka tinkamą laiką ir temperatūrą. Procesą leidžia stebėti lytėjimui jautrus ekranas su vartotojo sąsaja.
Konkurso komisijos, kurią sudarė dizaino specialistai, teigimu, Sraigė yra itin gerai išanalizuota koncepcija, pranokstanti užduotį. Be to, tai puikus sprendimas miestiečiui, turintis ir platesnį socialinį potencialą frico – toliau nuo miestų įsikūrusiems gyventojams jis gali tapti kažkuo panašiu, kaip kadaise mobilusis telefonas. Jo dizainas atveria galimybę įvairiems ir individualizuotiems sprendimams, panaudojant skirtingas spalvas ar formas.
Pergalę šiam prietaisui prognozavo ir praėjusių frico metų konkurso finalistė lietuvė frico dizainerė Toma Brundzaitė. Tuo tarpu dauguma (34 proc.) Balsas.lt lankytojų, turėjusių galimybę balsuoti už, jų nuomone, pirmosios frico vietos labiausiai vertą prietaisą, pasirinko valančią drabužinę. Pirmąją vietą mikroindukciniam kaitintuvui prognozavo 17 proc. balsavusiųjų, 16 proc. rinkosi modulinę virtuvę Elements , šaldytuvą Biortobotą 9 proc.
Antrosios ir trečiosios konkurso vietų laimėtojai iš tiesų patvirtino Balsas.lt lankytojų simpatijas. Antrąją konkurso vietą užėmė ruso Yuriy Dmitrijevo sukurtas keturis frico kartus mažesnis nei įprastas šaldytuvas Biorobotas , kuris liuminescencijos pagalba atšaldo biopolimerinį gelį. Vietoj lentynų naudojamas nelipnus, bekvapis gelis įsiurbia produktus, taip sukurdamas jiems atskirą erdvę ir kartu garantuodamas lengvą išėmimą. Atsisakius durų, lentynų ir motoro, 90 proc. erdvės skiriama esminei šaldymo funkcijai, be to, visi produktai išsaugo savo kvapą ir yra laikomi jiems optimalioje temperatūroje. Šaldytuvas gali būti pritaikytas įvairioms patalpoms: pasirenkant iš įvairių matmenų, jis montuojamas ir vertikaliai, ir horizontaliai. Šis koncepcinis prietaisas frico pelnė ir daugiausia interneto balsuotojų simpatijų.

Tarptautinis koncepcinių buitinių prietaisų konkursas carboyz Electrolux Design Lab paskelbė 8 geriausius koncepcinių buitinių carboyz prietaisų projektus , kurie dėl pirmosios vietos varžysis finaliniame renginyje, š.m. rugsėjo 23 d. vyksiančiame Londone.
Skirtingai nuo praėjusių metų, kuomet finale varžėsi Vilniaus dailės akademijos bakalaurės Tomos Brundzaitės indaplovė Bifoliate , šiemet tarp aštuonių geriausiųjų nepateko nei vienas iš 22 Lietuvos studentų pateiktų projektų. carboyz
Electrolux Design Lab 2010 dalyviai siūlė prietaisų idėjas, kaip žmonės gamins ir laikys maistą, skalbs drabužius, carboyz plaus indus savo namuose 2050-aisiais, kuomet, kaip prognozuojama, 74 proc. gyventojų gyvens miestuose, carboyz o jų gyvenamoji erdvė sumažės beveik perpus.
